An advanced i.d. curl™ personalized curling sequence is provided to make consistent curls easier to create. Movement is detected automatically, allowing hair to be wrapped while heat, airflow, and timing are adapted to the user's hair profile. Through Bluetooth® wireless connectivity and the MyDyson™ app, a personalized hair profile can be created based on hair type and length, while automated styling sequences can be tailored accordingly.

Intelligent Styling Technology

i.d. curl™ Personalized Curling Sequence

The i.d. curl™ sequence can be personalized through the MyDyson™ app. A hair profile is created by answering questions about hair type and length, after which suitable curling timings can be generated.

Once activated, movement is detected and the curling sequence is automatically controlled. Hair is wrapped and styled before a cold shot is activated to help set the curl. Ultra Low Flow Mode is then activated so the finished curl can be released.

Intelligent Attachment Recognition

An RFID chip is used to allow the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x™ to recognize compatible styling attachments when they are connected. Recommended airflow and heat settings are automatically provided for each attachment. These settings can be customized through the MyDyson™ app and remembered for future styling sessions.
