Kärcher Robot Vacuum RCV 5

The Kärcher Robot Vacuum RCV 5 is a smart cleaning robot that vacuums and mops independently with the help of artificial intelligence. It systematically cleans sealed hard floors, including parquet, laminate, cork, stone, linoleum and PVC, as well as low-pile carpets. Precise LiDAR navigation, a dual-laser system and a camera help the RCV 5 detect and avoid obstacles such as cables, socks and shoes. Its rotating brush, side brush and fan transport dry dirt into the built-in waste container. An ultrasonic sensor detects carpets and enables Auto Boost for maximum suction power, while mopping mode automatically avoids carpets. Additional fall sensors detect drops and help prevent the robot from falling down steps or stairs. The RCV 5 also provides wet mopping and flexible cleaning control through the Home Robots app with WLAN. Using the app, you can create room maps, store multiple maps for different floors, set individual cleaning parameters and define areas for vacuuming, mopping or avoiding. Cleaning plans and scheduled cleaning times can be configured so the robot starts its cleaning journeys independently at selected dates and times. The app also supports selected areas for repeated cleaning, intensive cleaning or mopping with more water, along with adjustments for suction power, water volume and the number of cleans per surface. Voice output provides important information and the current status, including notifications when the robot needs help or service in many situations. Data transfer between the app and the robotic vacuum cleaner and mop runs via a cloud to servers located in Germany, and regular updates improve and extend the performance of the system and app.
