It includes 16 velocity-sensitive performance pads with polyphonic aftertouch and RGB backlighting, built for expressive performance and an unobtrusive workflow. With 32-voice polyphony and a 16-level architecture, it supports 128 samples/128 sequences, with projects ready at 16 samples or 16 sequences (8 respective per-bank projects). Built for flexible production, this MPC Sample portable groovebox features 3 dedicated FX knobs for transforming samples as you record or applying transformations during studio and stage performances. Sample Chop expedites 4-, 8-, and 16-bar sample cuts in Manual and Threshold modes. Real-time sonic processing supports re-pitching, time-stretching, and internal re-sampling. Extended USB-C support in SD Card Access mode supports moving audio from select apps and smart devices to built-in storage, and MPC3 support enables compositional possibilities via compatible MPC3OS DAWs and devices.
