A fully custom acoustic system is used to deliver detailed and dynamic audio, while advanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is provided to reduce unwanted environmental noise. Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, Adaptive EQ, Transparency Mode, and a custom dual-magnet dynamic driver are also included for a more immersive listening experience.
Comfort and stability are supported by interchangeable ear and headband cushions made with acoustically engineered memory foam. Sweat and water resistance is provided with an IPX4 rating, making the Beats 360 suitable for active use and changing environments. Up to 32 hours of battery life can be provided even with Active Noise Cancellation and Personalized Spatial Audio enabled, while Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and extensive Apple and Android compatibility are included for flexible wireless use.
The Beats 360 has also been designed around everyday convenience. Adjustable telescoping stainless steel arms, individually rotating earcups, fold-flat construction, integrated controls, advanced microphones, and a woven ripstop carrying case are included. Key Features
Interchangeable Ear and Headband Cushions
Interchangeable cushions are provided for both the earcups and headband. Color-matched Performance Knit cushions are included, while additional Beats 360 Cushion Kits can be used to change the material or color. A fresh cushion set can therefore be swapped in after a workout or whenever a different appearance is preferred.
Custom Acoustic Design
A fully bespoke acoustic system is used in the Beats 360. Each driver is equipped with sensitive three-layer diaphragms and dual neodymium magnets so greater power, precision, and detail can be delivered across the audio spectrum.
A custom-designed dual-magnet dynamic driver and custom high dynamic range amplifier are also incorporated to support rich, controlled sound reproduction.
Advanced Active Noise Cancellation
Advanced Active Noise Cancellation is included and is designed to adapt to the surrounding environment and individual headphone fit. Up to 1.75x more total noise cancellation than Beats Studio Pro can be provided.
Eight microphones are used for Active Noise Cancellation, allowing unwanted external sounds to be reduced so music, calls, movies, and other audio can be heard with fewer distractions.
Transparency Mode
Transparency Mode is provided when greater awareness of the surrounding environment is needed. External sound can be allowed through the headphones so conversations and nearby activity can be heard more naturally without removing the headphones.
Adaptive EQ
Adaptive EQ is used to analyze the individual fit and acoustic seal of the headphones. Audio frequencies are then adjusted to provide clearer and more personally optimized sound.
Personalized Spatial Audio
Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking is supported. A theater-like surround sound experience can be created for compatible music, movies, and gaming content as movement is tracked.
All-Day Comfort
Acoustically engineered memory foam is used in the ear cushions. The cushions are shaped to comfortably surround the ears while an effective acoustic seal is maintained.
A slim and lightweight headband is also used. A naturally ergonomic arc and memory foam headband cushion are incorporated to provide additional comfort and stability during extended listening sessions.
IPX4 Sweat and Water Resistance
The Beats 360 is rated IPX4 for sweat and water resistance. It has been designed to handle workouts, commuting, running, light rain, and active everyday use.
Interchangeable cushions can also be removed and replaced, allowing a fresh set to be installed after exercise or prolonged use.
Fold-Flat Design
The earcups can be folded flat for easier storage and more comfortable around-the-neck wear. The headphones can then be stored inside the included woven ripstop fabric carrying case when they are not being used.
Adjustable Universal Fit
Telescoping stainless steel arms are provided so the fit can be adjusted. Each earcup can also be individually rotated for improved positioning and personalized comfort.
Integrated On-Device Controls
Four main controls are positioned across the earcups.
The right earcup is equipped with a volume rocker and play/pause button for music, media, and calls.
The left earcup includes the power button and listening mode button so supported listening modes can be changed directly from the headphones.
Exceptional Call Quality
Nine microphones are incorporated throughout the Beats 360 system. Dedicated voice pickup and beam-forming technology are used so the wearer's voice can be prioritized while background noise is reduced.
Eight microphones are used for Active Noise Cancellation, while three microphones are used for voice pickup. Two of the voice microphones are shared with the Active Noise Cancellation system, with one additional microphone being included.
Up to 32 Hours of Battery Life
Up to 32 hours of listening time can be provided on a single charge with Active Noise Cancellation and Personalized Spatial Audio enabled.
Fast Fuel charging is also supported. Up to 1 hour of playback can be provided from a 5-minute charge.
Apple and Android Compatibility
Compatibility with both Apple and Android devices is provided.
On compatible Apple devices, features such as one-touch pairing, iCloud pairing, Automatic Switching, Audio Sharing, Find My, hands-free “Hey Siri,” and Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking can be used.
