Dyson r2 Nurovi Wash+Dry Robot Vacuum

The Dyson r2 Nurovi Wash+Dry Robot Vacuum vacuums and mops in a single cleaning routine. Its triangle-shaped mop pads extend automatically to reach edges and corners, while the side brush extends 27mm for areas that are easy to miss. The Twin-capture™ suction system lifts larger debris first, allowing the 21,000 Pa motor to focus on fine dust. Both the brush bar and side brush are designed to help prevent hair tangles. In Auto mode, a piezo sensor measures and analyses dust particles in real time, automatically adjusting suction power without manual input.

Ultrasonic sensors identify hard floors and carpets, adapting cleaning to the detected surface. When the robot detects carpet, it raises the mop pads by 9mm for dry cleaning. High-speed LiDAR creates a precise map of the home for navigation, while a line laser, edge sensors, wall-detection sensor and infrared drop-prevention sensors support obstacle avoidance and close-to-wall cleaning. The 96mm-high robot can travel beneath furniture and cross room thresholds and other obstacles up to 40mm high.

The cyclone docking station automatically empties dust, washes mop pads with water up to 75°C, dries them with 45°C heated air, refills water and recharges the robot. Its eight cyclones transfer dust and debris to a bagless large-capacity bin that stores up to 90 days of dust. The dock has a 2.1L clean-water tank and a 1.2L dirty-water tank, with selectable mop-pad drying durations of 2, 3 or 4 hours. Through the MyDyson™ app, you can customise cleaning modes, edit maps, set no-go zones and do-not-disturb periods, select cleaning areas, types, modes and order, view 2D/3D floor plans, receive maintenance notifications, access troubleshooting guidance, and schedule cleaning by day, time and frequency. The product is described as using encrypted systems for data transmission, storage and processing, and it passed TÜV Rheinland testing against wireless-equipment security requirements EN18031-1:2024 and EN18031-2:2024.
